Instream Flow Council
2020 Biennial Meeting
Columbia, Missouri
April 13-17, 2020
Main | Draft Agenda | Registration
The IFC meets internally every two years to share approaches, tools, strategies, skills, and lessons learned firsthand and help our member agencies improve their instream flow and water level conservation effectiveness. The more IFC member attendees that participate, the better the learning and benefits to IFC as a whole and each member.
Accordingly, we encourage each of you to plan to attend and bring others from your agency that are involved in instream flow and water level management conservation.
Meeting Objectives
- Share successes and challenges with flows and water levels stewardship.
- Explore opportunities for improving integration of IFC participation in agency instream flow and water level conservation and related initiatives.
- Participate in training on state-of-the-art instream flow and water level conservation techniques and approaches (science, public involvement, legal and institutional elements, etc.).
- Problem solving through networking with our one-on-one membership expertise.
Overview
This meeting will include a welcome reception, member agency update presentations, a site visit, technical training, and a banquet.
A central theme of member update presentations will include discussion of “How the IFC has helped me do my job and what can it do to help improve further”.
