Call for Posters

 Submission deadline March 1, 2018
Maximum of only 28 abstracts accepted

Abstracts:

We welcome abstracts for the poster session that describe strategies and tools to conjunctively maintain the viability of rivers, reservoirs, and lakes including the connectivity between surface and subsurface water which help resource managers effectively balance traditionally recognized water needs with the ecological vitality of river systems.

Posters that highlight projects that integrate ecological, legal, and social aspects as part of comprehensive water management efforts in the face of drought are of particular interest. We also welcome abstracts for projects that integrate new habitat quantification methods with historic flow analyses. Other potential poster topics include novel tools for evaluating flow needs and/or applications that use widely recognized environmental flow assessment tools in a new way.

Deadline:

The deadline for abstract submissions is March 1, 2018. Abstracts should be submitted using the form below. A maximum of 28 abstracts will be selected for poster presentations at the workshop. If the poster allocation has not been filled by March 1, the deadline will be extended and abstracts accepted on a first-come-first-served basis until the poster allocation is filled. A notice will be posted when all poster spaces are filled.

Accepted posters:

Applicants will be notified of acceptance shortly after the March 1 deadline. Applicants submitting abstracts after the deadline will be notified within two weeks of the submission. Details of accepted posters will be posted shortly after acceptance. Presenters will be asked to be at their posters during the designated poster presentation session.
