Tom Annear: Making a Difference Award (2011)

For being the guiding force behind the movement to establish the IFC by inviting people at National Instream Flow Program Assessment meetings to form an organization which became IFC.
For providing leadership from its inception to the present.
As first IFC president, for helping establish the purpose and way IFC functions.
For obtaining funding for writing and publishing Instream Flows for Riverine Resource Stewardship, for contributing to writing the book, and providing the vision to see it through.
For helping IFC grow in influence and being an ambassador to other organizations and Puerto Rico.
