These workshops will run concurrently.

  • Workshop #1: What About Those High Flows? Environmental Flow Requirements for High Flows on Streams and Rivers. The workshop will present speakers and topics on high flow subjects important to natural resource management on natural and regulated rivers. Moderator: Alan Wald, Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife.

  • Workshop #2: Use of the MesoHabitat Simulation Model (MesoHABSIM) for Instream Habitat Assessments. Learn how this model can simulate habitat changes at the watershed scale. Instructor: Piotr Parasiewicz, Rushing Rivers Institute.

  • Workshop #3: The Nature Conservancy's Tools & Methods for Developing Environmental Flow Recommendations. Learn TNC's collaborative process, software tools and adaptive management framework. Instructors: The Nature Conservancy, Global Freshwater Team.
