Chapter 7. Conclusions

Water management decisions made today will impact rivers and surrounding watersheds for generations to come. The primary focus of The Instream Flow Council is to foster a better understanding of the need to protect riverine resources for present and future generations. Too often we forget that, "We did not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children" (Source: Ancient Native American Proverb)
